It's the little things...

That get you every time! We're still working hard over here trying to push through some minor details for the launch. 9 has always been my lucky number, but then again, so is 12. :)

Also wanted to drop a line to anyone out there that wanted to still send in their story and thought it was too late. It's not. I have to say...We are so inspired by what we have read thus far, and would like to keep it going. Therefore, we will be giving away **one more** 3 day workshop seat to any remaining workshop on the 2010 schedule! I figure it's the least we can do for keeping you all hanging over our launch date!! :)

Here are a few details:

• Round one stories (winner announced July 12th @ 6pmEST) are due no later than July 11th...

• Round TWO stories (winner announced July 16th @6pmEST) are due no later than July 15th...

Great question... We want to be moved. Tell us your story... who you are, what moves you as a person, how did you come to be a photographer - what was the turning point for you? How you think winning a seat at our workshops would benefit your business...Tell us anything! We have received stories as short as a simple paragraph, to over a page long - your story is unique to you... We want to hear it!!

No sleep till...

We are diligently working on all of these small details that seem to be kicking our butt at the moment. Rest assured, we will post as SOON as everything is ready. July 9th is plaguing us at the moment, but we will do our best not to miss our target!!!

Tap tap tap...Testing...1 2 3...Anyone still here?

Thanks to all those that commented on my last entry... I realize that I never posted the comments, but I thank you all so very much for writing in. I want you to know that I read each and every one, and I really appreciate you all taking the time... While some wrote only a short note, some wrote very long - very thoughtful entries, and I wanted to take a second to acknowledge that... There were over 300 comments that people submitted, and although it may seem that they went unnoticed - they didn't...

We have been working very hard here on something new and amazing, and wanted to let those that still come to my blog know that many exciting things are on the forefront... Please stay tuned (only a week and a half to go!!)

Here's the deal...

I guess I am not so great at this blog thing, but the truth of the matter is this: I'm just never sure what to talk about...what people want to hear. Sure, I could just arbitrarily post image after image, etc. but I just have to ask (and I have always wondered) How do people find the time to spend SO MUCH TIME on their blogs? 

I guess it all comes down to priorities, and what is important to YOU. It might sound silly, but who am I to assume that people *want* to hear/see what I have to post? Personally, I don't read blogs, and because I don't read them, I guess it's hard to put an emphasis on my own... I have never been one to talk about myself really... Don't get me wrong, I guess I like reality TV and all, but in my personal life, I am pretty private. Having a blog, in some way, contradicts everything that I 'am'.

So, readers, if there still are any at this point...(maybe because I haven't updated in 6 months - thanks Adam ;) ) Please tell me what is in a blog. What makes it information worthy vs. empty ramblings of daily life that I just can't bring myself to write about..? 

**BUT**

Since I have been asked to post, however, I am happy to oblige. I would love to hear what you want to hear... Maybe I can turn the corner with this thing and make it something that I love instead of something that I avoid...

I like a challenge...

I don't find myself photographing many one year olds lately, but when I do, I am always open to the challenge. ;) Meet Sagan. I loved this little man. Like most one year olds, he definitely had his idea of how the session would go. I love it when they are tired of being photographed about 5 minutes into the shoot. Makes it interesting to say the least...haha.

I am so sorry that I have neglected you in the past. It was never my intent, and was so very selfish of me. I promise to feed you regularly from now on.
