Wow... That was FAST!

Soldoutblog

The first Dallas workshop officially sold out in less than 12 hours. I had NO IDEA that we would have that kind of response!

In lieu of a waiting list, I decided to open up a second set of dates...
Those dates are: November 13, 14, and 15

Please visit the Workshop Website for details on how to register, and current availability.

** I also wanted to let everyone that has been trying to call (clients and workshop attendees) that we have been down with no power (due to the storms last night), and we are working HARD to get everyone's images up as promised. To potential workshop attendees: We are trying as hard as we can to call you all back, but are slightly set back due to this inconvenience! Please know that we will take care of everyone that is on our list! **

Brand New Workshop Website!

Workshopsplash22a_2
View it here: Brianna Graham Workshops

Note: I have gotten several emails in regards to the dates of the workshops... There is a "schedule" section on my new Workshop Website, but it's currently being worked on. I hope to have it up and running very soon!

The dates for the two upccoming workshops are as follows:
October: 13 & 14 - Grand Rapids, MI : Urban (with an option to do a third day of Studio Lighting)
November: 9, 10 & 11 - Dallas, TX : Studio Lighting & the Urban Session

Well, yesterday was a lot of fun! We managed to schedule 9 of the 18 attendees for Dallas. There are 9 seats left. We just sent out the email to all people that were on the mailing list. This might just be crazy talk (and please do not hold me to it - because I don't even know if I can swing it), but at this rate, I am not opposed to opening a second date. I haven't decided if that is going to work just yet, but I am not against it. It will have to be right around the same time frame though, if I do, due to travel reasons, etc. Let me see how this goes, I guess. It's possible that Dallas might be seeing more of me that I had origianally thought.

I also wanted to let people know that there are 4 available seats for my October Workshop. I know I had some inquiries over the last few weeks, but unfortunately those people were just added to the mass list that we sent out. Regardless, you will have workshop information one way or the other. Either via this blog, or via the email.

Please don't hesitate to email: workshops@briannagraham.com if you A:) Did not receive the email or B:) Would like to be added to the list for future workshops (yes there will be more!) C:) Would like to reserve a seat for either the Dallas workshop in November (Find the info here) or the October workshop here in Grand Rapids.

I look forward to talking with all of you, and working with a lot of you in the near future!!

On to the next announcement: I have a BRAND NEW WORKSHOP WEBSITE!! I love it! View it here: Brianna Graham Workshops There are a few segments that need to be worked on still. For instance: The calendar isn't working just yet... but all in all, it's here, and I love it. I would *LOVE* to know what you think as well.

Well, that's enough typing for now...must sleep!

More soon!

Announcing: Dallas Workshop!

First, I wanted to thank everyone who commented on my blog. I am honored at everything that was said. I appreciate it greatly - thank you! I look forward to posting many more senior images soon.

OK, on to the announcement...

Well, it took me long enough to get my thoughts in order for the Dallas workshop, but it's here (well, not yet - ha...) Anyway, I wanted to announce the dates officially. They will be: November 9, 10, and 11 this year. I have quite a large list of people that have requested that they be informed on the dates of this workshop, and I wanted to let you all know that you will be receiving an email this evening (to make it official).

Here are the specifics:

Three Day Workshop - Dallas, Texas: Studio Lighting & The Urban Session (Natural lighting)
Price: $1450 ($350 required to hold your seat)
Balance due: 1 month before workshop date

18 attendees maximum

I will open registration today. The retainer to hold your spot is $350. Please email me at: workshops@briannagraham.com to make arrangements. OR Please feel free to call the studio: 616.855.2196 All retainers must be paid via credit card.

Here are the details:

During your three days at this destination workshop, learn how to implement studio and natural lighting techniques with live shoots of varying ages. Each day will incorporate every element that I implement in my business: lighting (both studio and natural), interacting with your subjects, marketing, sales, intensive post-production, and more.

Day One: Learn how to implement studio lighting techniques with live shoots of varying ages. I will show you how to keep your subjects interested in more confined spaces using select light modifiers, out of the box backgrounds, and dynamic clothing choices. After the photo sessions, join me in studio for discussion, recap, Q&A, etc...

Day Two: Follow me through downtown streets to see first-hand how I photograph in an urban setting. Learn how to: Help clients plan clothing choices, Choose interesting locations, Find beautiful light and rich textures, and how to capture unique images in an ever-changing environment - all of which make your images more dynamic, and ultimately more profitable. After the downtown sessions, join me in studio for discussion, recap, Q&A, etc...

Day Three: Join me back at the studio for advanced Photoshop techniques (we're talking a lot - so be ready!), sales techniques, album design, creating unique products, the art of word of mouth marketing, and more!

I have 18 spots available, and I anticipate that they will fill quickly. I look forward to hearing from you! I also have a brand new workshop website that will be launching in the next day or two. I have been working hard on it this weekend, so hopefully it has all of the information that people have been asking about. Stay tuned for that in the next couple of days...

Best!

I also figured I can't post without adding an image or two, so here's a recent favorite...

Olivia...

Just returned from being in Chicago for a week. Being away really makes me restless to come back. It seems that I always have an influx of ideas and creativity when I am gone... maybe because I can't act on anything, so my mind likes to torture me...haha..

Anyway...

I recently had the chance to work with Olivia, who is a senior this coming year. What an amazing shoot we had!! I have sooo sooooooo many images to complete, but wanted to put my favorites online so she and her wonderful mom can see a preview * hi Olivia! ;) *

Here she is; isn't she just STUNNING!?!
